Zebras in the Wild
This painting is a 36 x 48 canvas in oil. the reason I did it is because I wanted to try something different.I'm not sure If I wIll paint another one because it took longer than I expected. I dIdn't know painting stripes would take so long! If I do, I would probably use a much smaller canvas!

Pat & Robert
This is a painting I did for a good friend of mine. I had to do this on twice, but was able to pull it off in the end. At least I hope his parents like it?
My World
This is a self-portrait. In the photograph that I used for this painting, I was holding my first-born son. When he was born, on September 8, 1994 , I was 20 years old, and to me he was my world. That's why I'm truly holding my world!
Eve in the Garden
Once again, in this painting I was trying to be Biblically correct. You see the snake holding the forbidden fruit and some kind of dinosaur in the front. I tried to make this one more colorful, since my wife, who posed for Eve, told me that my paintings tend to be dark. And it's true. I love using black and blues in my paintings. I think they make the main focus of the painting stand out!
Daniel in the Lion's Den
When I painted Daniel, I wanted to be Biblically correct. In the book of Daniel, chapter 6:20-22, it says: And when he (the king) came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel; and the king spoke and said to Daniel, “O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?” Then said Daniel unto the king, “O king, live forever! My God hath sent His angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths so that they have not hurt me; forasmuch as before Him innocence was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.”
Although Daniel may be Biblically correct, a good friend of mine, Teresa, pointed out that he wasn't anatomically correct. Thank you, Teresa, for pointing that out!
